Overview
In robotic pallet handling applications, 3D cameras provide intelligent material-handling equipment with reliable three-dimensional perception capabilities. For neatly arranged pallets and storage bays, the cameras can rapidly identify pallet orientation and bay coordinates, enabling high-precision, high-throughput storage and retrieval operations;
In complex, densely stacked warehouse areas, the camera uses point cloud data to accurately reconstruct the spatial configuration of the bins and their surrounding environment, guiding the robot to determine pick-and-place locations and avoid collisions, thereby facilitating the efficient handling of bin turnover in the warehouse.
